Advisory Board

Sotirios Bahtsetzis is the Chair of the Department of Culture, Creative Media and Industries at the University of Thessaly, and Associate Professor with an academic specialization in “Theory of Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices.” He holds a summa cum laude PhD in Art History from the TU Berlin, with a dissertation on the historical analysis of installation art in the twentieth century.

Stelios Giamarelos is an architect, historian and theorist with a multi-disciplinary background in architecture engineering, architectural history and theory, and history and philosophy of science and technology, and Associate Professor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL), where he coordinates the doctoral programmes in Architectural Design and Architectural & Urban History & Theory. 
He lives and works in London.

Maria Papadimitriou is a contemporary visual artist. She is a professor of visual arts at the Department of Architecture of the University of Thessaly in Volos Greece. In 2015, she represented Greece at the 56th Venice Biennale with her work “Why Look at Animals? AGRIMIKA.” 
She lives and works between Athens and Volos.

Max Spielmann (Prof.) studied medicine and has worked in the audiovisual sector since 1984. He then shifted to the areas of interactive media and exhibitions and in 1998 co-founded the Institute HyperWerk at the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. His main areas of research are participatory media, art/design in transformation, regional development and design.
